Bilimungwe Bushcamp is located on the Southern side of the Luangwa Valley in Zambia and is hidden amongst the riverside forest. The most common trees found in the Luangwa Valley in Zambia are Baobab, Ebony and Marula Trees.

The vegetation of the Luangwa Valley changes with the seasons. In winter, Luangwa Valley is dry and barren but when summer arrives, the rain changes it all into a lush and fertile wilderness wonderland.

The Luangwa Valley is home to various species of wildlife. The South Luangwa National Park in Luangwa Valley is heralded as one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa because of this diversity.
