Tucked away in a great riverside setting on the Zambezi, this Zambia safari lodge is the perfect place to unwind and get out the fishing tackle, the fish are biting and the boats are waiting.
At this Zambia safari lodge there are 8 twin bedded en-suite tents which overlook the mighty Zambezi River and nearby are the Mambova Rapids. This area is renowned for great fishing opportunities in particular Tiger fishing, guests can set off on guided excursions by boat or mokoro (dug out canoe), or simply cast a line from the islands.
Great care has been taken to ensure that the lodge blends in with the natural habitat and a strict catch and release policy is in place to protect and preserve the environment. The lodge has a bar, lounge and open air enclosure (boma) which is just wonderful for al fresco dining.
Guests can catch a wide variety of fish in this area, but if time out is required then there are guided walks, birding opportunities as well as day trips around and about to Livingstone, Victoria Falls and also to local villages for cultural interaction.
Child policy: Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the camp due to the location on the rapids and river.
