    Dry Season:
    The best time to visit South Luangwa is during the dry months from June to November. This season starts off warm with daytime temperatures in the region of 24°C (75°F) but the nights are cold. From September it starts to heats up and you can expect temperatures up to 35°C (95°F) in October and November, with low humidity.

    Rainy Season:
    The rainy season from December to March is hot and humid and roads into South Luangwa become impassable. Most lodges close during this period.
