Climate:

Zambia sits on a high plateau and has three main seasons, which range from hot and rainy, hot and dry and cool and dry. The best time to go on safari in Zambia is during the dry season.

Cool and Dry:
May to September is pleasant with daytime temperatures in the region of 24°C (75°F), but it gets pretty cool at night at 8°C (46°F).

Hot and Dry:
By October and November the weather has warmed up to a delicious maximum of 35°C (95°F) with little humidity.

Hot and Wet:
Rain is expected from December to April and temperatures around 28°C (82°F), make it uncomfortably humid. Some roads become impassable and many lodges close their doors until May.
